Anodising is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of aluminium parts. This process prevents corrosion and provides a durable surface finish to aluminium components. Anodising can also be used as a pre-treatment before a paint finish is applied.
We offer the following colours as standard.
Other colours are available on request, subject to quantity and cost.
We offer a chemical brightening process prior to anodising that gives a bright and smooth finish to anodised surface of the material. This is especially useful for highly visual parts.
We are also able to mask threads and other areas where tight tolerances are required. This may be of benefit where electrical conductivity is required.
